How to prepare
- Most blood tests, including CBC, HbA1c, creatinine, uric acid and SGPT, need no fasting.
- Fasting blood sugar (FBS): fast for 8 to 10 hours. Fasting lipid profile: fast for 10 to 12 hours and avoid alcohol for 24 hours. Plain water is fine.
- Urinalysis: bring a first-morning, midstream urine sample in a sterile cup within 2 hours.
- Keep taking your usual medicines unless your doctor says otherwise.

Home collection
PinMed, our home service, collects samples at your home or office in Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite and Laguna. The fee depends on the distance from our clinic; lab-only orders of ₱3,000 or more are free within 10 km.
Payment and HMO
Senior citizens and PWD get 20% off plus VAT exemption with a valid ID. We accept cash, card, GCash, Maya, 9 HMOs and PhilHealth YAKAP. Using an HMO? Coverage depends on your plan, and some HMOs need a doctor's request and a Letter of Authorization (LOA); our front desk can help you get it. PhilHealth YAKAP covers eligible tests and the general medicine consult at our clinic.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I need to fast for blood tests?
- Only for some tests. FBS needs 8 to 10 hours and a fasting lipid profile 10 to 12 hours. CBC, HbA1c and most other blood tests need no fasting.
- Can you collect my blood test at home?
- Yes. PinMed collects samples at your home or office. Lab-only orders of ₱3,000 or more are free within 10 km of our clinic.
- Does PhilHealth YAKAP cover lab tests?
- YAKAP covers eligible laboratory tests at our clinic with a doctor's request. YAKAP isn't available for home service yet.
