What the Chest X-ray checks
A chest X-ray takes a picture of your lungs, heart size and chest bones. It's a standard part of pre-employment and annual physical exams, and doctors request it for cough, fever, shortness of breath or chest pain. A radiologist reads the image, and the reading is included in our price.

How to prepare
No fasting needed. Remove jewelry and metal. We'll give you a gown if needed. Tell us if you are or might be pregnant. Keep taking your usual medicines unless your doctor says otherwise. Bring a valid ID, your HMO card and LOA if you're using an HMO, and your doctor's request if you have one.
Price and payment
X-ray - Chest PA: ₱800. Prices are regular rates as of August 2026 and already include reading and procedure fees. Senior citizens and PWD get 20% off with a valid ID. We accept cash, card, GCash, Maya, 9 HMOs and PhilHealth YAKAP. Want a fuller check? It's included in our Express package with doctor's consult, chest X-ray and more (₱5,000).
Home service
PinMed, our home service, can do this at your home or office in Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite and Laguna. The home service fee depends on the distance from our clinic and your tests, and is calculated when you enter your address; lab-only orders of ₱3,000 or more are free within 10 km.

- Do I need to prepare for a chest X-ray?
- No fasting is needed. Remove necklaces and metal from your chest area; we'll give you a gown if needed.
- Can I have a chest X-ray if I'm pregnant?
- Tell our staff first if you're pregnant or might be. X-rays are usually avoided in pregnancy unless your doctor says it's needed.
- Do you do chest X-ray at home?
- Yes. PinMed can bring mobile X-ray to your home or office. The home service fee depends on your area.
