What the X-ray checks
An X-ray uses a small, controlled dose of radiation to take pictures of the chest, bones, joints and some organs. Our FDA-licensed X-ray facility takes chest, spine, limb and joint views and abdominal views such as KUB. A radiologist reads each X-ray, and the reading is included in our price. Prices for one side are shown; both sides and other views are listed in Tests & prices.

Who usually needs it
- Pre-employment, annual physical and school requirements (usually a chest X-ray)
- Injuries, back pain or joint pain, when your doctor requests it

- PhilHealth YAKAP members with a doctor's request
How to prepare
No fasting needed. Remove jewelry and metal. We'll give you a gown if needed. Tell us if you are or might be pregnant. Keep taking your usual medicines unless your doctor says otherwise. Bring a valid ID, your HMO card and LOA if you're using an HMO, and your doctor's request if you have one.
Price and payment
X-ray prices start at ₱700; see the table above for common views. Prices are regular rates as of August 2026 and already include reading and procedure fees. Senior citizens and PWD get 20% off plus VAT exemption with a valid ID. We accept cash, card, GCash, Maya, 9 HMOs and PhilHealth YAKAP. Want a fuller check? It's included in our Express package with doctor's consult, chest X-ray and more (₱5,000).
Using an HMO? Coverage depends on your plan, and some HMOs need a doctor's request and a Letter of Authorization (LOA); our front desk can help you get it. PhilHealth YAKAP covers eligible tests and the general medicine consult at our clinic.
Home service
PinMed, our home service, can do this at your home or office in Metro Manila, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite and Laguna. The home service fee depends on the distance from our clinic and your tests, and is calculated when you enter your address; lab-only orders of ₱3,000 or more are free within 10 km.

Frequently asked questions
- Do I need to prepare for an X-ray?
- No fasting is needed for a plain X-ray. Remove jewelry and metal from the area; we'll give you a gown if needed.
- Can I have an X-ray if I'm pregnant?
- Tell our staff first if you're pregnant or might be. X-rays are usually avoided in pregnancy unless your doctor says it's needed.
- Do you do X-ray at home?
- Yes. PinMed can bring mobile X-ray to your home or office. The home service fee depends on your area.
- Does PhilHealth YAKAP cover X-ray?
- X-ray is one of the YAKAP services at our clinic. It needs a doctor's request and is done in the clinic.
